GP Registrar Training Practice:
Training the next generation of GP's.
We have been involved in training and supervising many Doctors over the years, who have successfully obtained their Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, whilst under our supervision and mentor-ship.
The rules for the training program for our Registrars are that they may remain at our clinic for 12 months and then move along to another clinic for a different patient exposure and supervision. So even though we spend a lot of time and effort in their training they have to move along, and we understand the frustration of patients in the change over of Doctors frequently. This is outside of our control.
Our Registrars then become Specialist GP's and move to Brisbane and the Coast for personal and family reasons. Congratulations to them and we wish them well in their future endeavours.
